This Wiki contains a few tutorials regarding diverse Linux specific topics.
I started using Linux in 2007 from time to time, when in 2018 I decided to make it my main operating system.
In order to use Linux one still has to perform many operations via the terminal. One needs to know the commands, which are not always straightforward to remember, especially if they are not needed on a daily basis, but e.g. only once when setting up the system.
Along the years I built up a collection of ReadMe files serving as guides, configuration files and scripts to setup and personalize my operating system, as well to extend and maintain my server. I synchronized these files between the computers I use in order to have them all up to date on all PCs.
In December 2022 I decided to migrate to this Wiki, in order to be able to access them from anywhere and to share the information with the world, which might find the information useful as well. Other benefits include the much more appealing presentation than using plain text files and the possibility to copy code snippets very easily in order to execute them in a terminal.
The focus of the tutorials lie on the brevity of the description while still mentioning every step necessary to complete the task at hand.
